Job summary

Peraton seeks a Data Engineer to support the DoD Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with defensive cyberspace operations and AI/ML security support. Location: Fort Meade, MD.

In this role you will design and implement data infrastructure, pipelines, and integration solutions to support DCDC analytic capabilities within Caspian and JCRS-D environments, as part of the Analytic Development Team. Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala.
• Experience with Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop ecosystem.
• Knowledge of data modeling and warehousing.
• Understanding of streaming architectures.
• Experience with cloud data services.
• U.S Citizenship required.
• DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance

Responsibilities
