Job summary

SMS DATA PRODUCTS GROUP, INC is seeking a Sr. Cyber Security Engineer to support our BIM contract and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements and Air Force standards.

You will serve as a senior SME for enterprise security and coordinate RMF activities. The role requires a DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification, a DoD Secret clearance (with ability to obtain TS/SCI), and at least eight years of DoD cybersecurity experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of cybersecurity experience in DoD environments.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification required (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).
• DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic cybersecurity expertise across all BIM IDIQ Task Orders ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements, Air Force Information Network standards, and IDIQ-level security obligations.
• Serve as authoritative cybersecurity SME for enterprise-level security architecture, policy compliance, and risk management.
• Manage RMF authorization activities coordinating with multiple Authorizing Officials across Task Orders.
• Develop enterprise cybersecurity strategies, policies, and standards applicable across all BIM implementations.
• Oversee STIG compliance, vulnerability management, and security patching programs.
• Manage cybersecurity assessment activities including Security Test and Evaluation events.
• Coordinate with Government cybersecurity authorities including USCYBERCOM, AFCYBER, and 688th Cyber Wing.
• Manage incident response coordination for cybersecurity events.
• Develop and maintains Program Protection Implementation Plans.
• Ensure Post-Quantum Cryptography readiness and implementation planning.
• Manage cybersecurity workforce development ensuring DoD 8140 compliance.
• Provide cybersecurity technical guidance to Task Order teams.
