Job summary

Abacus Technology is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to provide security support for the C3I&N Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.

You will ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policies, implement certification and accreditation, RMF/A&A processes, and PKI-enabled capabilities for biometrics, signatures, encryption and authentication. U.S. Citizenship and a current Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in cyber security or information assurance with at least 5 years in a DoD environment.
• Experience with certification and accreditation (C&A), assessment and authorization (A&A), and RMF.
• Knowledge of DoD/AF policies (DoDI 8500.01, RMF, AFI 17-101) and PKI-enabled capabilities.
• Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system and application deliverables meet DoD/Air Force cybersecurity policies.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/Air Force C&A, A&A, and RMF requirements.
• Support PKI/PK enabling activities for biometrics, digital signatures, encryption, identification and authentication.
• Adhere to system audit principles and security risk assessment practices.
