Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a Cyber Security Engineer to support the C3I&N Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This full-time role focuses on delivering security compliance with DoD and AF policies and implementing RMF-based security controls across DoD systems.

Qualifications include 3+ years in cyber security within a DoD environment, a related bachelor's degree, and a current Secret clearance. Strong communications skills and PKI-related expertise are needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in cyber security or information assurance, including in a DoD environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; additional experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience with certification and accreditation (C&A), assessment and authorization (A&A), and RMF.
• Familiar with DIACAP, FISMA, NIST, and OMB standards; strong communications skills.
• Must be a US Citizen with a current Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all system and application deliverables meet the requirements of all DoD and Air Force Cybersecurity policies
• Ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policy, specifically DoDI 8500.01, Cybersecurity, and AFI 17-130
• Ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force Certification and Accreditation policies, specifically DoDI 8510.01, RMF, and AFI 17-101
• Support PKI and PK enabling activities for biometrics, digital signatures, encryption, identification and authentication.
