AGE Solutions is seeking a Sr Cybersecurity Policy Specialist to lead policy development for a DoD cybersecurity program. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing, and finalizing security policies, while coordinating with DISA, DoD CIO, and USCYBERCOM to implement required updates.

Applicants must hold US citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance, have eight years of cybersecurity experience, and at least three years in policy development. The position is on-site at Ft. Meade, MD.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Must have and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree (IT-related field preferred).
• DoD 8570 IA Technical (IAT) Level III certification.
• Eight (8) years overall in cybersecurity or a similar technical field
• Three (3) years specifically working in cybersecurity policy development roles.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and interpreting security policies, procedures, standards, CONOPS, and governance documents
• Proven ability to prepare and present technical documentation, strategic briefings, and governance materials for senior-level DoD boards
• Proficient in applying knowledge management best practices using tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, or Wikis to enhance collaboration and information accessibility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical documentation and stakeholder engagement.
• Location availability to work full-time on-site at Ft. Meade, MD.

Responsabilités

• Apply knowledge of DoD assessment resources and policies to support DISA directives and strategies.
• Maintain policy content on DISA SPO site and alternate platforms.
• Develop and maintain standardized procedures for policy drafting and finalization.
• Use DISA/DoD tools to generate compliance reports.
• Monitor compliance activities and document lessons learned.
• Coordinate working groups to address feedback and input from comment matrices.
• Track and complete action items with relevant organizations.
• Manage repositories for cybersecurity policy and governance documents.
• Draft, revise, and finalize up to 10 policy documents annually (up to 50 pages each).
• Prepare up to 20 presentations, briefs, and reports per year on cybersecurity policy.
• Participate in weekly governance, policy, and compliance meetings.
• Implement policy updates issued by USCYBERCOM, DoD CIO, and DISA.
