Quantech Services, Inc. is seeking a Business Analytics specialist to translate quantitative data into actionable insights for DoD programs in Massachusetts.

You will collaborate with cost analysts and SMEs, develop life cycle cost estimates, and analyze historical data to build cost estimation models and risk distributions. Proficiency in data analysis, statistics, and tools like JIRA and MS TFS will support program managers in tracking progress and making informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven DoD or USG cost analysis experience or relevant quantitative analysis background.
• Experience with regression analysis and developing cost estimation relationships.
• Ability to translate program data into cost impacts for government programs.
• Strong communication skills to engage cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with a team of cost analysts and SMEs on diverse projects.
• Develop life cycle cost estimates for DoD weapon system programs.
• Analyze historical data and develop cost estimation relationships using regression analysis.
• Analyze software program progress tracking tools (JIRA, MS TFS) and derive metrics for PMs.
• Interview functional specialists to support estimating methodology development.
• Build risk distributions and cost driver relationship equations.
• Analyze program schedules and quantify schedule uncertainty.
• Develop metrics for complex software development programs.
• Create spreadsheet-based cost models used for decision analysis.
• Apply statistics to quantify probability of success for budgets and schedules.
• Conduct business case analyses and trade studies.
• Assist program managers in contract strategy and program planning.
