Job summary

General Atomics is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to partner with program management, finance, legal, and government customers, leading complex contract negotiations and administration across a diverse DoD and federal portfolio.

The role requires managing large, FAR-based contracts, ensuring policy compliance, and presenting contract positions to internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on meticulous documentation and strategic negotiation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree typically required with 15+ years of contract administration experience.
• Experience with large, complex FAR-based contracts (e.g., DoD) preferred.
• Strong grasp of contract principles, FAR and FAR supplements.

Responsibilities

• Support one or more business units in contract management.
• Lead negotiation and administration of complex contracts across DoD and federal programs.
• Review bids and proposals for compliance with company policy and solicitation requirements.
• Negotiate and modify terms and conditions, including NDAs, teaming, licenses, and MOUs.
• Advise management on contractual rights and obligations and provide policy interpretations.
• Interact with customers and external parties as primary contract contact and participate in pricing reviews.
