Job summary

Cherokee Nation Defense Solutions (CNDS) is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to support AFCEC’s mission across MILCON and FSRM programs. You will lead technical reviews, provide advisory services, and coordinate with design and construction teams at multiple locations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in CM/engineering, 10+ years of DoD experience, and US citizenship with passport. Travel CONUS/OCONUS may be required; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or closely related field.
• 10+ years of DoD/AF facility construction project management experience.
• Knowledge of DoD design/construction policies and standards; AFCEC/USACE/NAVFAC familiarity.
• US citizen with valid US passport.
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS; pass federal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad technical review and advisory/assistance for AFCEC design and construction projects.
• Prepare and review statements of work, cost estimates, submittals, and RFIs.
• Participate in design meetings, contract acquisition, construction meetings, and inspections.
• Produce status updates, evaluations, analyses, reports, and cost/schedule reviews.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
