Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Senior Communications Network Engineer to join their team in Norfolk, VA. This on-site position involves designing, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments in support of federal defense operations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco networking technologies, network performance optimization, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. A full benefits package is offered along with a competitive salary range of $90,000-95,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering & supporting enterprise network environments.
• Experience supporting network migrations, conversions, cutovers, & infrastructure upgrades.
• CCNA certification or equivalent OEM network support certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, BAN, and WAN network environments.
• Configure, monitor, and optimize Cisco network infrastructure including routers, switches, and related network devices.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute network upgrades, migrations, cutovers, and technology refresh initiatives.
