Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced acquisition/financial support professional to help develop and coordinate budgeting and procurement documentation for DoD aviation programs.

You will prepare briefs, reports, and correspondence, and collaborate with government and contractor teams to ensure compliant, timely deliverables. The role involves analyzing budget execution, tracking funding actions, and supporting milestones and reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus two years of relevant experience or MA/MS in a relevant discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience performing duties similar to the functional description.
• 5 years of experience supporting Naval aviation or comparable DoD acquisition programs.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional briefs, reports, and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Support development and coordination of acquisition and financial documentation required to execute program objectives.
• Assist with acquisition strategy reports, procurement initiation documentation, performance work statements, funding documents, CDRLs, and baseline-related materials.
• Analyze budget execution, funding requirements, and financial status to support program decision-making.
• Review program procedures, documentation, and financial products for completeness, consistency, and compliance with applicable guidance.
• Develop financial inputs for briefs, point papers, correspondence, reports, meetings, conferences, and review boards.
• Support program milestone events, budget reviews, acquisition reviews, and internal coordination meetings.
• Coordinate with acquisition, contracting, business financial management, logistics, and technical stakeholders.
• Track program funding actions, financial issues, suspense items, and documentation status.
• Prepare senior-level analysis and recommendations related to budget execution, acquisition planning, and program risk.
• Provide clear written and verbal updates to government and contractor leadership.
