Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced program/financial analyst to support DoD acquisition budgeting, documentation, and decision-making.

You will liaise with government and contractor teams, prepare briefs and reports, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely execution. The role requires a strong background in acquisition processes, funding documents, and program reviews, plus an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus two additional years of relevant experience or MA/MS degree in a relevant discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience performing duties similar to the functional description.
• 5 years of experience supporting Naval aviation or comparable DoD acquisition programs.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Ability to work effectively with government, military, and contractor stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional briefs, reports, and correspondence.
• Associate’s degree plus four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a master’s degree.
• Six additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Support development and coordination of acquisition and financial documentation required to execute program objectives.
• Assist with acquisition strategy reports, procurement initiation documentation, performance work statements, funding documents, CDRLs, and baseline-related materials.
• Analyze budget execution, funding requirements, and financial status to support program decision-making.
• Review program procedures, documentation, and financial products for completeness, consistency, and compliance with applicable guidance.
• Develop financial inputs for briefs, point papers, correspondence, reports, meetings, conferences, and review boards.
• Support program milestone events, budget reviews, acquisition reviews, and internal coordination meetings.
• Coordinate with acquisition, contracting, business financial management, logistics, and technical stakeholders.
• Track program funding actions, financial issues, suspense items, and documentation status.
• Prepare senior-level analysis and recommendations related to budget execution, acquisition planning, and program risk.
• Provide clear written and verbal updates to government and contractor leadership.
