Job summary

KBR's National Security Solutions team in Los Angeles Area is seeking a Senior Acquisition Specialist for the Space Force portfolio in El Segundo, CA. You will help manage cost schedules and performance of DoD acquisitions, coordinating high-visibility taskers and briefing leadership.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, a TS/SCI clearance, and advanced MS Office/TMT usage. On-site 40 hours/week, competitive compensation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics is required.
• Active TS/SCI eligibility is required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication, planning, budgeting, and programming skills.
• Ability to assess and consolidate technical and programmatic inputs from internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience using TMT and MS Office Suite in a DoD or Space Force/Air Force environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage high-visibility, time-sensitive actions.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Director’s Action Group and Business Operations for Space Force acquisition activities.
• Manage cost, schedule, and performance of DoD acquisitions from commercial, industrial, and/or military perspectives.
• Assess, develop, evaluate, and consolidate technical and programmatic inputs from stakeholders.
• Interact with Space Force/Air Force and DoD tools (TMT, MS Office) to initiate, track, and close taskers.
• Apply planning, budgeting, and programming skills to support Space Force acquisitions.
