Job summary

Integrated Data Services (IDS) in El Segundo, CA, seeks a Senior Acquisition Business Analyst to support the System Program Director with strategic planning and stakeholder communications. This role collaborates with Space Systems Command leadership, HQ USSF, and other DoD components to translate mission needs into end-to-end acquisition solutions.

The position requires 10+ years in acquisition management, with knowledge of DoD contracting and ACAT processes.

Qualifications

• At least ten years of acquisition management and planning experience required.
• Experience developing acquisition strategies and supporting source selections.
• Knowledge of DoD/Space Force policy, budgeting and contracting principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of ACAT program management and milestone processes.

Responsibilities

• Support Space Force leadership with acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and program execution.
• Collaborate with DoD/DoW technical teams and industry partners for program outcomes.
• Prepare acquisition documentation for boards, source selections, and policy initiatives.
• Advise on government contracting and financial management processes.
• Develop strategic communications and risk assessments for program initiatives.
