Job summary

Apogee seeks a Senior Acquisition Analyst to support SOF AT&L’s PEO-FW program at MacDill AFB, Florida. The role centers on financial execution, reconciliation, and coordination across program offices, DFAS, and other stakeholders to sustain Tri-Annual reviews and closeout activities.

You will perform reviews, generate reports, and advise on funding actions for classified portfolios, using DEAMS, PBAS, ABSS, and related tools, while maintaining compliance with DoD guidance and supporting

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must possess and maintain Secret clearance.
• DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency IAW the PWS (DAWIA II level).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or Associate’s degree plus four years of experience).
• 10 years of financial experience, including 6 years in DoD Acquisition Financial Execution.
• Knowledge of DoD Acquisition System and Defense Acquisition Framework.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as central coordinating focal point for accounting actions and issues among SOF AT&L program offices, SOF AT&L‑K, HQ USSOCOM, DFAS, and other stakeholders to support Tri‑Annual reviews and reconciliation.
• Conduct Tri‑Annual reviews and full document reconciliation for active and expired fiscal year accounts IAW DOD FMR and DFAS guidance.
• Coordinate contract follow‑up and closeout activities for contracts with active, expiring, or expired funds, liaising with various offices to resolve issues and facilitate closeout.
• Track, analyze, and report reconciliation and contract closeout metrics and provide bi-monthly status by appropriation and fiscal year.
• Identify leadership concerns requiring external attention and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and user support on Tri‑Annual review processes and related systems, plus perform Super Module Manager and Group Administration Manager roles.
• Provide accounting and financial support for classified funding portfolios, ensuring secure handling, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Perform financial execution and analysis using DEAMS, PBAS, ABSS, CRIS, and internal tracking systems; monitor expenditures and recommend remedial actions.
• Maintain and update SOF AT&L obligation tracking and FEM daily; prepare monthly investment status reports with Get Well plans and detailed backup.
• Prepare and execute financial documents (FADs, MIPRs, AF Form 9s, Fund Cite Authorizations), set up new accounts/flows in ABSS/DEAMS/WAWF, and maintain program office contract files.
• Perform fiscal year‑end closeout actions and monthly/annual closeout reporting, advise on allocations, and requests for additional funds.
• Support foreign partner funding management and reporting for SOF Peculiar FMS and IAC projects, develop presentations and analytic products.
