Job summary

Fifth Third Bank seeks a Team Leader, Documentation in Equipment Finance to oversee the preparation, review, and funding of lease and loan documentation. You will manage multi-stage processes and coordinate with Sales to close complex transactions while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk controls.

You will lead a team, review documentation packages, and supervise the funding process, ensuring accurate data entry and timely booking for servicing and future reconciliations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years related work experience in leasing.
• 2-5 years Direct Doc Team Lead experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access).
• InfoLease experience preferred.
• Legal background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transaction documentation preparation with Sales team.
• Ensure documentation for transactions is timely and accurate.
• Verify system can handle transaction structures accurately.
• Assist Sales with documentation negotiation and follow-up.
• Negotiate larger, more complex transactions with Sales.
• Ensure documentation meets Leasing requirements and reaches legal, accounting, and tax review as required.
• Coordinate with leasing staff to verify pricing, credit requirements, and residuals.
