Job summary

Worley in The Woodlands, TX, is seeking a Document Control professional assigned to a customer project to ensure all project documentation is accurately logged, managed and issued using the Electronic Document Management System, Excel and BlueBeam. The role requires outstanding organization and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Technical school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Experience with document control and electronic document management (EDM) systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Log, manage and issue project documents using the EDM system, Excel and BlueBeam.
• Provide technical support on document control tasks and follow established standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation logs and ensure completeness and traceability.

Purpose Of The Role

Document Control seconded to customer, working in customer’s Woodlands office.. Ensure that all project documentation is accurately logged, managed and issued via the Electronic Document Management System, Excel and BlueBeam. Must be very organized.

• Performs difficult technical support assignments, requiring the application of advanced techniques, and engineering and mathematical principles, in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Works under direct supervision with scope for planning and organization of work methods on assigned projects. Receives assignments in terms of specific objectives and priorities. Work is reviewed for accuracy, completeness and accomplishment of objectives. May receive supervised / self-training in more advanced discipline work practices / applications.
• Strong ability in verbal and written communication
• Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues. Working knowledge of
• Document Management, Aconex, BlueBeam and ability to update documents in BlueBeam.
• Strong ability in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite a must

Qualifications

• Technical school graduate with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
