Job summary

KellyMitchell Group seeks a Data Loss Prevention Subject-Matter Expert / Technical Lead in Bethesda, MD to design, implement, and manage DLP across on-premise and cloud environments. You will develop secure baselines for multiple OS and services and guide cross-functional teams in policy enforcement.

Responsibilities include leading collaboration forums, producing risk assessments and SOPs, and mentoring staff on data protection and compliance best practices.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of enterprise configuration standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, NIST SP 800-53 rev 5, NIST Baseline Checklist Repository, CISA BOD 25-01 SCuBA).
• Hands-on experience building secure baselines across Windows, Linux, macOS, and enterprise apps.
• Proficient in GPO management, MDM, and automation for configuration controls.
• Experience validating compliance with Tenable.SC, Nessus, and SCAP tools.
• Strong technical writing for risk assessments, SOPs, and executive briefs.
• Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration across IT and cybersecurity teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and management of DLP solutions across enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
• Develop secure configuration baselines for Windows, Linux, macOS, and cloud services (M365, AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Create and enforce DLP policies via GPOs, MDM, and automated controls.
• Utilize Tenable.SC, Nessus, and SCAP to validate compliance and detect baseline deviations.
• Lead stakeholders and working groups to ensure enterprise-wide DLP alignment.
• Produce technical documentation, risk assessments, and executive briefings.
