Job summary

Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking a Senior Distribution Planning Manager to own the end-to-end planning system for the distribution center.

You will translate demand, inventory, capacity, labor, and constraints into executable daily, weekly, and seasonal plans, lead the planning team, and partner with cross-functional leaders to set scalable standards. You will drive S&OP, develop capacity and staffing models, and provide executive insights to optimize service and cost across a multi-channel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8+ years in distribution planning.
• Experience leading planning, production control, capacity planning, labor planning, or a similar analytical operations function in a large-scale environment.
• Strong ability to analyze large data sets and translate analyses into executive decisions.
• Advanced Excel; Power BI, SQL, Python preferred; familiarity with WMS.
• Experience with warehouse management systems including Manhattan WM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end site planning translating demand, inventory flow, capacity, and priorities into executable plans.
• Lead site S&OP / integrated planning with cross-functional teams across Operations, Finance, IT, and network planning.
• Manage labor and staffing planning, including headcount, shifts, overtime, and temporary labor.
• Develop capacity models and perform scenario planning for demand spikes and other disruptions.
• Oversee wave and release strategies and monitor adherence to plan, driving recovery actions as needed.
• Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations on demand, capacity, and service risk.
