The role requires substantial engineering experience, ABET-accredited degree, EIT/FE (or equivalent) and potentially PE registration, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and influence key contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from ABET accredited curriculum or recognized equivalency.
• 5+ years relevant engineering experience with EIT/FE, or 7+ years without EIT/FE.
• PE (Professional Engineer) registration may be required depending on business need.

Responsibilities

• Understand current state of planning processes and drive toward integration through tools and automation.
• Set assumptions and perform integrated technical analysis as a distribution planning subject matter expert.
• Develop insights, recommendations, and reports to support business decisions and major initiatives.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively, using data visualization.
• Apply extensive technical expertise and full knowledge of related disciplines.
• Perform complex or innovative assignments requiring new techniques and procedures.
• Represent the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects.
• Interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
• Pursue continuous self-development of technical skills and competencies.
