Job summary

Walgreens Distribution Center is seeking an operations leader responsible for inbound and outbound activities, including Receiving, Replenishment, Put-away, Split Case Stocking, Shipping and Picking. You will guide and mentor Function Managers, control payroll and budgets, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across shifts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent distribution experience, 2+ years of leadership, and strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for reporting and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED with distribution/warehousing experience.
• At least 2 years in distribution, warehousing or logistics operations.
• Experience with distribution product flow and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Executes and supports strategic plans as directed by management.
• Provides strategic goals and direction to Function Managers across shifts.
• Drives operational improvement and safety across function areas.
• Manages volume and staffing to meet service, cost and quality goals.
• Mentors and develops Function Managers and staff through training.
• Implements policies to minimize inventory loss and audits compliance.
• Monitors performance and directs corrective actions when needed.
• Prepares budgets and oversees payroll and expenses.
• Ensures regulatory compliance (OSHA, DEA, FDA) and proper record keeping.
