Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead Distribution Engineer based on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The role involves developing work packages for OH, UG, and network projects using GIS and design tools, coordinating with clients, and performing engineering analyses in field and office settings.

Experience with OH framing, UG design, NESC standards, and O-Calc is essential. A relocation package is offered for eligible hires; travel up to 15-25% may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering experience in utility distribution.
• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Experience with OH/UG design, MH/Duct systems and NESC standards.
• Proficiency with O-Calc, AutoCAD, and Microstation.

Responsibilities

• Develop work packages for OH, UG, UG networks and Make Ready projects.
• Review client-provided work and scope requirements.
• Work in field and office settings adhering to safety standards.
• Perform protective device coordination, fault current calcs, and cable/pull calcs.
• Develop project costs and BOMs; coordinate with utilities.
