Job summary

Harvey Nash Group is seeking a Software Development Engineer IV to design, develop, and deliver scalable, distributed software in a Linux environment. The role requires strong expertise in Java, Python, and TypeScript, AWS cloud development, and end-to-end software delivery.

Location is Dallas, TX / Arlington, VA onsite, duration 15 months, with a 24x7 on-call rotation and travel for onsite launches; on-site work five days a week.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience required.
• Design, develop, implement, test, document and deliver large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications in a Linux environment.
• Experience with multi-threaded programming and distributed programming in Java or C++.
• Willingness to travel and support 24x7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of entire piece of system or application and serve as technical lead on complex projects.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation and travel for onsite troubleshooting or project launch.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications for robust, scalable solutions.
• Collaborate within overall system architecture to ensure integration and performance.
