Job summary

Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Networking team is seeking engineers to design and build large-scale distributed systems that operate in a distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. You will contribute to software design, develop features, and bring them into production, focusing on resilience and performance.

The role requires deep technical depth across stack components, collaboration in an agile environment, and a commitment to scalability and simplicity.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of total experience in software development
• Experience writing code in Java, Go, C#, or similar OO languages.
• Experience with large-scale, distributed services infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and build large-scale distributed systems for OCI networking.
• Drive development of services and frameworks for scalable networking challenges.
• Collaborate across teams to design unified, automated, observable systems.
• Lead technical direction for high-impact projects and mentor engineers.
• Improve service reliability, latency, and automation through tooling and metrics.
• Influence architectural strategy and OCI region-build roadmap.
