Job summary

Onehouse is hiring a senior data infrastructure engineer to build and optimize the core data stack. You will work on the transactional data lake, contribute to Apache Hudi internals, and help scale a cloud-native managed service used by top enterprises.

You’ll tackle complex optimization problems, design new indexing and concurrency features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance data processing at scale.

Qualifications

• Strong OO design and coding skills in Java and/or C/C++ on UNIX/Linux.
• Experience with distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
• Ability to tackle ambiguous problems and articulate technical solutions.
• Ability to prioritize feature development and technical debt with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Productionize next-gen data tech stack components.
• Optimize Apache Hudi internals for diverse workloads.
• Deepen team expertise on databases, query engines, storage, or streaming.
• Design concurrency control and transactional capabilities for high throughput.
• Collaborate with engineers to deploy and roll out production enhancements.
