Job summary

Venture Search client, a $20bn+ global hedge fund, seeks a Senior Discretionary Macro Portfolio Manager to lead directional strategies across liquid markets. Location options London, New York or West Palm Beach.

The candidate will have a proven live PnL track record (≥$20m), strong Sharpe, and an investment process capable of generating risk-adjusted returns across FX, rates, fixed income, equities or commodities. The role offers an opportunity to join an established multi-manager platform.

Qualifications

• Strong live track record with a demonstrable PnL
• Experience across FX, rates, fixed income, equities or commodities
• Ability to operate within an institutional multi-manager platform

Responsibilities

• Manage discretionary directional macro strategy across global markets
• Identify high-conviction opportunities using macro analysis
• Own portfolio construction, risk allocation and drawdown management
• Generate risk-adjusted returns through a repeatable investment process
• Monitor macro developments and cross-asset relationships for opportunities
• Maintain risk discipline while adapting to market changes
• Collaborate with investment and risk teams to deploy capital effectively
