F&L Search's client, one of the world's largest global macro investors, seeks a senior strategist based in New York. You will have real input into the investment process and direct access to CIOs, investment committees and boards.

You will translate a rigorous macro house view into actionable conclusions across asset classes, write thematic research under your name, and work with investment teams to address client questions on asset allocation and risk.

Qualifications

• Experience managing capital or setting macro views within a fund's investment process
• Breadth across global macro including rates, FX, equities, commodities and the economy
• Track record of writing own research
• Experience presenting to sophisticated institutional investors and willingness to travel
• Senior standing: Director/MD or buy-side equivalent
• Visa sponsorship is available

Responsabilités

• Represent the firm's macro views to CIOs, investment committees and boards at pensions, endowments and sovereign pools globally
• Translate a rigorous, systematic house view into conclusions allocators can act on, across asset classes and regions
• Write thematic research under your own name on the long-run forces driving markets
• Work through clients' portfolio questions - asset allocation, risk, portfolio construction - with the firm's investment team
• Build indicators and analysis that feed back into the investment process
• Own the intellectual relationship with a portfolio of the firm's most important clients
