Job summary

Purely Works in Los Angeles is seeking two experienced Project Manager II/III professionals to oversee disaster recovery and rebuild capital projects from programming through design, permitting, construction, and close-out. Location and status TBD; oiling across roads, water, sewer, and stormwater networks will be coordinated with multiple agencies.

Level II requires 10+ years of PM experience, Level III 15+ years; must be licensed (PE/RA) or CCM, with degrees in Architecture, Civil Engineering

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience through programming, design, permitting, construction, and close-out.
• Experience leading complex capital projects in public works or similar environments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; multi-agency coordination.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage all aspects of assigned capital projects from programming through close-out.
• Develop and control project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Review and coordinate feasibility studies, conditions assessments, and construction documents.
• Coordinate interdependent infrastructure systems to function as an integrated network.
• Facilitate team, client, and community stakeholder meetings.
• Negotiate and prepare change orders.
• Coordinate pre-design and construction activities with utilities and permitting agencies.
• Set and manage project expectations; respond to issues in a fast-paced environment.
