Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring for a Disability Representative Sr. in our Chicago area operation. You will manage complex disability claims, review medical documentation, and coordinate investigations and settlements with clients and vendors.

This role emphasizes thorough analysis, timely decisions, and strong collaboration with teammates. You’ll work in a hybrid environment with on-site centers near Chicago and Cedar Rapids, IA, while maintaining excellent customer service and adherence to ERISA and FMLA

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ERISA regulations and disability management practices.
• Understanding of FMLA regulations and SSDI processes.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Make independent claim determinations on complex disability claims.
• Review medical information to determine disability status.
• Coordinate investigations and referrals to vendors or physician reviews.
• Negotiate return-to-work with or without accommodations.
• Maintain professional client relationships and meet quality standards.
