Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• State certification or licensing in statutory leaves preferred or may be required.
• Three years of benefits or disability case/claims management experience.

Responsibilities

• Make independent claim determinations to approve complex disability claims or recommend denial.
• Review complex medical information to determine disability according to plan.
• Oversee comorbidities, concurrent plans, and ADA accommodations.
• Coordinate investigations and referrals to outside vendors or physician advisors.
• Negotiate return to work with or without accommodations.
• Maintain professional client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
