Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Sr. Director of Warehousing, Logistics, and Planning located southwest of Portland, OR. The role requires managing warehouse operations, building a new facility, and ensuring compliance with standards. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain, with strong leadership skills. Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience including production planning, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
• 5+ years of supervision/leadership experience.
• Experience working in environments that have doubled and tripled output in revenue within 2-4 year timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of all warehouse operations including stakeholder relationships.
• Lead the design, construction, and implementation of a new large warehouse.
• Ensure warehousing practices meet safety, food quality, and compliance standards.
• Oversee transportation of raw materials and finished goods.
• Maintain healthy inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote data-driven decision-making.
• Build and manage the site supply chain team.
