Overview

SciPro is partnered with a clinical-stage biotechnology company, operating at the forefront of autoimmune disease research, is building a national team of Physician Engagement & Launch Leaders. These individuals will play a mission-critical role in the pre-commercial and commercial efforts surrounding a first-in-class therapy targeting a debilitating autoimmune condition with no modern approved treatments.

This is a rare opportunity to influence launch strategy, establish scientific credibility with the field, and shape one of the most meaningful biotech market entries in recent memory. The role is designed for professionals who combine scientific fluency with commercial instincts, thrive in entrepreneurial settings, and can operate with high autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Launch Phase

  • Establish trusted relationships with leading rheumatologists and dermatologists across academic and community settings.
  • Lead peer-level scientific discussions, support collaborative research opportunities, and engage key institutions.
  • Inform physicians about ongoing development efforts and the therapeutic rationale for the investigational asset.
  • Capture field insights, track engagement outcomes, and help refine strategic priorities.
  • Represent the company at conferences and professional meetings.

Post-Launch Phase

  • Translate early relationships into commercial impact by driving appropriate adoption of the therapy.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to physicians and institutions to ensure effective patient access.
  • Measure success through behavior-based metrics (e.g., prescriptions written, institutional uptake).
  • Continue fostering long-term partnerships and thought leadership across the care continuum.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred (MD, PhD, or equivalent); strong scientific fluency is required.
  • Experience engaging physicians in medical affairs, biotech commercialization, business development, or health tech.
  • Highly credible with clinicians; able to lead nuanced conversations and collaborate across functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.
  • Willingness to travel (20-50%).

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Strategic Importance: Central to a priority therapeutic launch.
  • Executive Exposure: Regular interaction with senior leadership.
  • Launch-Stage Entry: Join during a pivotal pre-FDA submission phase, with commercialization planned for late 2026.
  • Mission-Driven: Aligned with advancing care for a severely underserved patient population.
