Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent, is required.
• 8 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience in higher education communication is preferred.
• Proven ability to use computer graphics, printing knowledge and production scheduling.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design versatility and polished execution.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce visually engaging and data-centered designs across media.
• Oversee videos, photography direction and branding cohesion.
• Collaborate with DAR and MarComm to ensure brand consistency.
• Lead production of reports, event materials and gifts.
• Mentor a high-performing design team and manage multiple projects.
• Define standards for engaging communications and workflow.
