Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Director, UX for Emerging Experience and Community within YouTube. You will own the user experience for mobile creation and community experiences including Shorts, YouTube Create, Live and Posts, and lead next‑gen AI powered creation tools.

You will drive a user‑centered strategic vision, influence cross‑functional partners, and maintain a high bar for product excellence to deliver for viewers and creators.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Design or HCI, or 12+ years in a senior role creating strategy and designing products.
15 years of experience leading UX teams or design portfolios.
Experience growing cross-discipline UX organizations, including senior managers and their teams.

Responsibilities

Set priorities and roadmaps with product and engineering partners to grow existing products and develop new offerings.
Ensure high-quality, intuitive user experiences for YouTube creators and viewers.
Drive operational excellence while leading creative thinking at scale.
Build relationships across YouTube to socialize and influence cohesive experiences.
Lead the evolution of video creation including Generative AI.
