Position Summary


We are seeking a visionary Sr Director of Transformation Strategy and Value Realization to support and drive joint initiatives that transform both business operations and the technology (if applicable) that underpins them. This role is crucial in ensuring that strategic initiatives are effectively planned, executed, and deliver measurable value to the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, business analysis, and value realization, with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments to achieve business and technological (if applicable) objectives. This role is responsible for coordinating a holistic strategy across all business functions involved in the transformation.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Strategic Coordination: Develop and implement holistic strategic plans across the transformation project that drive continuous improvement in business goals and technological (if applicable) advancements.
  • Value Realization: Identify and quantify the value of joint initiatives, ensuring that projects deliver tangible benefits and support the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Performance Accountability: Ensure accountability of business areas in meeting established metrics and targets, and report on progress to stakeholders.
  • Organizational Support: Enable the transformational project team and business partners to meet the needs of the program through effective resource allocation, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership, business units, and IT teams (if applicable) to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with strategic initiatives to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies/tools to continuously improve the organization's strategic planning and value realization processes.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, business analysis, or value realization in a business/functional context.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering successful strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications such as SMP or CSBPP.
  • Strategic Leadership in large programs or projects.
  • Experience managing outside partners to delivery expected outcomes.

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $166,500.00 to $236,434.00 per year
