Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Analytics Pre-Sales Leader to drive the overarching pre-sales strategy for the Analytics organization across Commercial and Enterprise TMT segments. You will manage a team of Solution Engineering leaders and align analytics offerings with strategic client goals in Technology, Media, and Telecom.

As the Senior Director of Analytics Solution Engineering for our TMT business, you will lead the overarching technical go-to-market strategy for Commercial and Enterprise customers across the Technology, Media, and Telecom sectors. In this highly influential second-line leadership role, you will manage a team of front-line Solution Engineering Directors, shaping the organizational structure, and driving the strategic vision for how the world's largest TMT companies deploy Tableau and CRM Analytics. You will act as a key executive sponsor for our most strategic accounts in the TMT space and serve as the critical nexus between overarching Sales Strategy, Product Innovation, and Solutions execution. Your Mission as a Senior Analytics Pre-Sales Leader

• Lead Transformation at Scale: Guide the overarching pre-sales strategy for the Analytics organization across the Commercial and Enterprise TMT segments. Drive a mindset shift across your leadership team to focus on multi-product technology solutions, enterprise innovation, and long-term business impact.
• Develop Leaders: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of front-line Solution Engineering Managers/Directors. Continuously evaluate and evolve organizational capabilities to meet emerging market trends in AI, Data, and the TMT landscape.
• Executive Sales Partnership: Partner with SVPs and EVPs of Sales to create and execute macro-level growth plans. Align Salesforce's Analytics and Data Cloud offerings with complex TMT customer goals to drive massive revenue outcomes.
• Shape the Analytics Ecosystem: Represent Salesforce at the highest levels, engaging with industry stakeholders, Chief Analytics Officers, and CIOs through thought leadership and strategic advisory on how data is disrupting Technology, Media, and Telecommunications.
• Drive Organizational Innovation: Develop and scale programmatic initiatives to enhance pre-sales productivity, data storytelling capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration with Product Management and Professional Services.

Skills and Experience:

• Executive Leadership: 10+ years of experience in a leadership role within strategy, pre-sales, or management consulting, including proven experience as a second-line leader (managing managers).
• TMT Industry Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the specific data challenges, digital transformation trends, and regulatory landscapes within the Technology, Media, and Telecom industries.
• Strategic Analytics Expertise: Extensive expertise in enterprise-grade data architecture, business intelligence, and digital transformation. Deep understanding of how organizations leverage Tableau and advanced analytics to disrupt industries.
• Enterprise Deal Strategy: Masterful ability to navigate and architect strategies for 8-figure+ technology deals, establishing new decision frameworks and governance processes for massive organizations.
• Transformation Mindset: Deep knowledge of design thinking, human-centered approaches to problem-solving, and a passion for driving continuous improvement across a large, matrixed organization.
• Operational Scale: Proven ability to deliver massive revenue targets while designing organizational structures, scaling enablement programs, and dynamically allocating resources across national or global territories to maximize impact.
