Job summary

CaroMont Health in Gastonia, NC, seeks a Senior Director System Imaging Services to lead imaging operations across the health system and set strategic direction for enterprise imaging initiatives.

You will partner with radiology leadership, medical staff, and system leaders to ensure quality, productivity, and regulatory compliance while advancing high-reliability practices and adoption of new imaging technologies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee imaging services operations across the CaroMont Health System.
• Develop and execute enterprise imaging strategies to support clinical, financial, and operational outcomes.
• Lead the imaging leadership team to ensure quality, productivity, and regulatory compliance.

Education

Licensed ARRT from an approved Radiology Program or a Registered Nurse or other Allied Health leader with a radiology specialty background; master’s degree in radiologic sciences, nursing, healthcare administration, business or related healthcare field

Senior Director System Imaging Services - CaroMont Health

Job Summary: The Senior Director System Imaging Services is responsible for the overall operations, leadership, and strategic direction for imaging services throughout the CaroMont Health System. This leader will utilize their comprehensive clinical and imaging expertise to develop and execute enterprise imaging strategies that support the overall health system and specific service line initiatives to achieve clinical, financial, and operational outcomes. Serves as a system liaison between radiology physician partners, medical staff, health system leaders, and external partners. Responsibilities include overseeing the activities of the imaging leadership team, ensuring quality, productivity, functional excellence, accomplishing operational and strategic objectives, and regulatory compliance. Supports the tenants of high reliability by influencing and supporting multidisciplinary teams to facilitate goal completion, efficient operations, and ensure the highest standards of quality and service are maintained system wide. A critical expectation of the role is the ability to leverage innovation, inform on emerging technology, and provide direction on industry best practices as it relates to imaging access and strategic growth. This leader will work closely with Senior Leadership to recommend and lead system level imaging strategic and operational initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education: Licensed ARRT from an approved Radiology Program or a Registered Nurse or other Allied Health leader with a radiology specialty background; master’s degree in radiologic sciences, nursing, healthcare administration, business or related healthcare field required.

Training and Experience: A minimum 10 years of progressive healthcare leadership growth in healthcare operations in acute care and ambulatory settings. The expectation is to have experience in multisite imaging services in hospital and ambulatory settings with strategic planning of assets with market growth, and operational execution. Has experience with operationalizing the tenants of high reliability and lean principles. Experience leading work teams in performance / process improvement; in-depth knowledge of legal polices and regulatory / compliance standards; aptitude for problem-solving; excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; clear, concise and practical communication skills – both written and oral; proven ability to hold team members accountable for job performance; exhibit good business judgment and acumen; comfortable collaborating with other departments and locations throughout the organization; advanced troubleshooting and multitasking skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and high pressure environment.
