Job summary

Diamond C is seeking a Senior Director of Supply Chain to translate business needs into a reliable, cost-effective supply plan. You will lead SIOP, production planning, inventory control, strategic sourcing, and procurement, collaborating across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Sales IT, and NPI to prevent disruptions and optimize working capital.

You will drive standard processes, problem-solving, and leadership development, ensuring material availability and alignment with production

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
Significant progressive leadership experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials Management or Operations in manufacturing.
Demonstrated experience leading multiple Supply Chain disciplines.
Strong experience with production planning and MRP in discrete manufacturing.
Demonstrated experience managing supplier performance and material availability.
Strong knowledge of inventory management and inventory-control practices.
Demonstrated strategic sourcing and supplier-negotiation experience.
Strong ERP/MRP experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead managers and develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

Provide direct leadership for SIOP, Planning, Inventory Control, Sourcing, and Procurement.
Translate VP of Supply Chain strategy into departmental priorities, metrics, and action plans.
Establish accountability for material availability, supplier performance, inventory accuracy, and disruption prevention.
Own SIOP execution and continuous improvement across demand, supply, and inventory.
Provide leadership for material and production planning supporting manufacturing operations.
Establish disciplined shortage-management and escalation processes.
Drive supplier performance, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Finance, Quality, IT, and NPI.
