Ross Stores is seeking a Senior Director of Store Operations Planning and Administration to lead enterprise-level initiatives and serve as the PMO for Store Operations. You will shape priorities, enable decision-making, and align senior leaders across major programs while managing one direct report.
The role interfaces with senior leadership, translating strategy into actionable plans and maintaining visibility across initiatives.
The store operations planning and administration team serves as the central coordination point for the Stores organization, driving clarity, alignment, and execution across Store Operations. The Senior Director, Store Operations Planning and Administration operates as both an enterprise leader driving alignment and execution and the PMO leader for the organization’s most critical initiatives.
This role is responsible for shaping priorities, enabling effective decision‑making, and ensuring alignment across senior leaders and key stakeholders. Acting as a strategic thought partner, the Senior Director anticipates business needs, surfaces risks and opportunities, and helps translate strategy into clear, actionable plans.
The position regularly interfaces with Senior Leadership and Executives across the organization, serving as a trusted advisor and central point of integration across initiatives and priorities, manages 1 direct report, and oversees the base salary range of $158,300 – $297,950.
Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer. Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in‑person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files. Consistent timeliness and regular attendance. Vision requirements: ability to see information in print and/or electronically. This role requires regular in‑office presence, including to engage in in‑person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and / or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in‑office and remote work.
