PayPal is seeking a Senior Director, Specialized Sales to build and lead a high-performing team of sales specialists focused on growing PayPal merchant partnerships and accelerating adoption of PayPal’s branded checkout, payments, and BNPL solutions across the Americas.

The role owns strategy and execution, partners with Account Management, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to structure strategic commercial partnerships at scale. Strong leadership and hunter/defender mindset required.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Duties include leading ~25 sales specialists including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance mgmt.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and articulate a clear, compelling vision and strategy.
  • Lead and mentor senior leaders within the sales development team.
  • Own revenue growth targets for the specialized products across the portfolio.
  • Set team structure, territory/account alignment, and coverage model.
  • Forecast health and accuracy of the branded/unbranded checkout pipeline; report to senior leadership.
  • Drive cross-sell opportunities with internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee complex sales cycles from discovery to post-live support; pricing and contracts.
