Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a global consulting firm seeking a Senior Director to lead engagements with C-suite executives and boards on capital markets challenges. You will bring investor perspective to undervalued equity stories, and defend strategies during shareholder activism while shaping market-facing investor engagement.

You will also help grow the practice, mentor junior talent, and advance within A&M, contributing to two key areas: shareholder activism and equity strategy, across markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in institutional investing, equity research, investment banking, corporate strategy, or capital markets advisory with credibility in how markets value companies.
• Requires deep capital markets expertise and the ability to articulate sophisticated investor perspectives.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagements with C-suite executives and boards to address capital markets challenges and protect/enhance equity value.
• Develop investor relations strategies and market-facing narratives for high-stakes situations.
• Contribute to equity strategy, governance guidance, and capital allocation framework discussions.
