Dentsu is seeking a Senior Director of Retail Content & Operations to lead content, digital shelf, and marketplace operations for major commerce platforms. The role partners with Dentsu Commerce teams to improve product discoverability, content quality, and performance across Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and more.

You will guide SEO, GEO initiatives, and automation opportunities while building scalable playbooks and leading a team of retail content and marketplace specialists.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in ecommerce, retail content, digital shelf or marketplace operations.
• Strong expertise across Amazon and Walmart.
• Experience with Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central and Walmart marketplace environments.
• Experience with TikTok Shop strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail SEO, digital shelf optimization and organic product discoverability.
• Familiarity with GEO and AI shopping experiences.
• Experience with commerce platforms such as Salsify, Syndigo, Pacvue or similar.
• Strong client leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience managing teams and delivering work across multiple clients.

TheSeniorDirector, Retail Content & Operations will lead retail content, digital shelf and marketplace operations for Dentsu Commerce clients across Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop and other priority commerce platforms.

This role will help brands improve how their products are found, presented and purchased across digital commerce environments. TheSeniorDirector will bring together retail content, marketplace operations, SEO and emerging GEO capabilities while partnering closely with Dentsu Commerce Media, Creative, Social Commerce and Analytics teams.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Content & Digital Shelf

• Lead retail content and digital shelf strategy across Amazon, Walmart and priority retailers
• Oversee PDP optimization including titles, copy, imagery, enhanced content and brand stores
• Develop scalable approaches to content auditing, optimization and syndication
• Use digital shelf and performance data to identify opportunities to improve discoverability and conversion
• Partner with Creative teams to translate commerce insights into stronger retail content

Marketplace Operations

• Lead marketplace operations across Amazon, Walmart Marketplace and TikTok Shop
• Oversee catalog health, item setup, product feeds, variation management and promotional readiness

Retail SEO & GEO

• Lead organic retail search strategy across Amazon and Walmart
• Develop Dentsu Commerce capabilities aroundGenerative Engine Optimization (GEO)and AI-powered shopping discovery
• Optimize product content for emerging experiences such as Amazon Rufus and other AI shopping assistants
• Connect keyword, search and digital shelf insights to content recommendations
• Partner with Retail Media teams to connect paid and organic search strategies

TikTok Shop Operations

• Oversee the operational foundation for client TikTok Shops, including catalog, product feeds, merchandising and promotions
• Partner with Social Commerce teams responsible for creator, affiliate and paid activation
• Ensure products and storefronts are optimized and operationally ready to convert demand

Client & Capability Leadership

• Serve as aseniorclient lead for retail content and marketplace operations
• Develop repeatable playbooks, tools and best practices that can scale across Dentsu Commerce clients
• Evaluate technology and automation opportunities that make content and marketplace operations more efficient
• Support new business pitches and identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships
• Manage and develop a team of retail content and marketplace specialists

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in ecommerce, retail content, digital shelf or marketplace operations
• Strong expertise across Amazon and Walmart
• Experience with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central and Walmart marketplace environments
• Experience with TikTok Shop strongly preferred

The annual salary range for this position is $136,850 -$188,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
