The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. We carry out this mission internationally through programs delivered by our Service to the Armed Forces (SAF) Department and our International Services Department (ISD).
The Senior Director of International Services and Service to Armed Forces Resource Mobilization is a strategic management role responsible for shaping the organization's international funding ecosystem. Reporting to the Vice President for SAF & ISD and collaborating with the Fundraising Programs and Segment Strategy Team through National Headquarters, this role provides leadership in developing and executing comprehensive resource mobilization strategies across private, foundation, and government channels and includes oversight of donor stewardship, proposal development, grants/agreements processing, and compliance monitoring.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Resource Mobilization and Organizational ImpactEducation: Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree (master's or higher) in International Development, Public Policy, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred
Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in resource mobilization required, with demonstrated success in:
Management Experience: 7 years of management experience required

PAY INFORMATION: The annual salary range for this position is $150,000 - $165,000. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. **We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location & experience.**
