Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Masters degree preferred.
• 7 years experience in health administration including leadership experience in a health care environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive research administration strategy aligned with the Department’s priorities.
• Serve as a senior advisor to departmental leadership on research administration, research finance, sponsored programs, compliance, infrastructure, and operational strategy.
• Partner with Chair and senior leadership to identify opportunities and address barriers to research growth.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and structures that support an efficient and sustainable research enterprise.
• Lead efforts to strengthen and standardize research administration across the Department and improve the faculty experience.
• Provide oversight of pre- and post-award administration and ensure compliant submission and management of sponsored projects.
• Monitor financial performance, reporting, and forecasting for research activities.
• Support investigators in navigating policies, sponsor requirements, and regulatory obligations.
