Job summary

Centene Corporation in Missouri seeks a Regulatory Operations leader to direct licensing for new and existing businesses. You will identify state requirements, engage with state personnel, research regulatory environments, and advise on product development from a regulatory perspective.

You will lead licensure discussions, assess viability and funding, coordinate filings, and inform senior leadership about state regulatory trends impacting operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related field.
• 8+ years in regulatory operations, compliance, business operations or project management.
• Managed care and state licensing experience in healthcare environment.

Job description

Position Purpose

Direct the process for identifying and obtaining the appropriate licenses for new and existing businesses. Assist new business development and expansion for companywide operations

• Identify state requirements and secure the appropriate information within Centene and external sources to fulfill filing obligations
• Direct engagement with State personnel and conduct independent research into regulatory environments
• Serve in an advisory role related to new product development in terms of regulatory requirements and concerns
• Lead the discussion regarding licensure requirements, organizational structure obligations, financial funding levels/timing and all obligatory filings
• Assess viability of requirements and ability to fulfill requirements and propose mitigation strategies
• Execute business implementation plans including initiating requests to support functions for finance, legal, compliance, and other specific functions to respond to state specific requests and elevate as appropriate
• Advise senior leadership on significant regulatory trends on the state level that would affect business operations
• Coordinate and track the application documentation and submission for business licensure

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related field. 8+ years of regulatory operations, compliance, business operations, project management or related experience. Managed care and state licensing experience in healthcare environment.Pay Range: $148,000.00 - $274,200.00 per year
