Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health is seeking a qualified leader to design, develop and implement a comprehensive Quality and Patient Safety Program across Cape Fear Valley Health System. The role provides expert guidance to medical center departments and staff, ensuring systematic evaluation of services.

You will coordinate performance improvement activities, maintain Joint Commission readiness, and lead staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
• Experience leading quality programs in hospital settings.
• Knowledge of The Joint Commission Standards and CQI methodologies.
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a Quality and Patient Safety Program.
• Coordinate performance improvement activities across the system.
• Review improvement plans and report to the Quality Management Board.
• Prepare quarterly quality reports for the Board of Trustees.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards.
• Lead staff development programs in performance improvement.
• Serve as an expert resource for quality principles and data management.
• Provide leadership for disease-specific certifications as needed.
