Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible communications experience developing and leading communications strategies.
• Strong project management experience with multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong media relationships and writing skills with top communications tools.
• Public sector media, politics and public affairs expertise.
• Integrated issue campaigns and relationships across technology and public affairs.
• Emerging/breaking issues counsel with responsive client service.
• New business development and growth of client relationships.
• Experience mentoring junior professionals.
• Attention to detail, enthusiasm, creativity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• As Senior Director, serve as primary client manager, core team member and communications lead.
• Develop media strategies and assets; maintain trusted media relations.
• Provide strategic counsel and guidance across the company; mentor team members.
• Advance brand as Glen Echo Group ambassador and contribute to new business strategy.
