Reporting to the Executive Leader, International Trade Compliance, this role leads a team of trade compliance experts responsible for translating regulatory requirements and business priorities into policies, scalable governance systems, training, and operating mechanisms.

Job Description Summary The Senior Director – Programs & Operations Leader, ITC is a senior leader within the International Trade Compliance (ITC) organization, responsible for designing and operating the cohesive framework that enables effective trade compliance execution across the company. Reporting to the Executive Leader, International Trade Compliance, this role leads a team of trade compliance experts responsible for translating regulatory requirements and business priorities into policies, scalable governance systems, training, and operating mechanisms. This leader is accountable for the overall ITC operating model and for ensuring that key enterprise capabilities — including the extended ITC business partner network, training and communications, digital tools, and risk management — work together as an integrated system to strengthen compliance effectiveness and support sustainable execution across GE Aerospace business divisions and key subsidiaries.

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities

• At the direction of the ITC Executive Leader, translate ITC strategy and regulatory requirements into enterprise priorities and execution plans.
• Lead the development, implementation, and governance of ITC policies, programs, standards, and operating requirements.
• Define and manage the ITC operating model, including escalation paths, management routines, and decision‑making processes.
• Establish metrics, dashboards, and management systems to assess program effectiveness, monitor execution, and provide visibility to priorities and risks.
• Lead and integrate key ITC enablement capabilities, including extended network effectiveness, training and communications, digital tools, and risk management.
• Drive standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement of ITC processes across the enterprise.
• Sponsor cross-functional initiatives that improve the efficiency, scalability, and maturity of the ITC program.
• Build strong partnerships across Legal, Digital Technology, HR, Communications, Audit, and business stakeholders to embed trade compliance requirements into business operations and decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 12 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 14 years of professional experience
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in international trade compliance, regulatory compliance, legal, risk, operations, or a related discipline in a complex global organization
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

The base pay range for this position is $181,000 - $241,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on October 25th, 2026.
