Job summary

Tr1X, Inc. seeks a Director/Senior Director of Program Management to lead cross-functional program execution for Tr1X’s Tr1, CAR-Tr1, and in vivo cell therapy pipelines.

You will align clinical, regulatory, and R&D teams to hit milestones and strategic goals. Based on San Diego on-site operations, you will build governance frameworks, manage risks, and communicate progress to senior leadership and external partners while guiding budgets and timelines across early development through

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a relevant field and 10+ years in a program/project management role supporting drug development; advanced degree (Ph.D., MS, MD) and/or PM Certification strongly preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage diverse groups.
• Extensive experience with CDMOs in cell/gene therapy.
• Sponsor-side cell or gene therapy development program experience required.
• Apply PM principles for drug development; understand scientific/business elements of Tr1X engineered Tr1 therapies.
• Strong external stakeholder management and influence to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Translate program strategy into integrated timelines, milestones, and deliverables across contributing functions.
• Provide program management support for Tr1X Tr1, CAR-Tr1, and in vivo programs.
• Manage one or more complex R&D programs and high-profile partnerships.
• Communicate with team members, leadership, department heads, and key stakeholders including KOLs.
• Track milestones and decision points to drive delivery and outcomes.
• Develop governance tools, KPIs, timelines, and risk communication.
• Coordinate cross-functional handoffs between departments.
• Maintain clinical development plans, timelines, budgets, and risk strategies.
