Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Horsham, PA seeks a Senior Director, Precision Medicine, US Oncology to lead the US Precision Medicine strategy and execution, partnering with Commercial, Medical, R&D and enabling functions.

You will build and guide a high-impact marketing team, align priorities with business goals, and engage top oncology customers to advance precision medicine adoption and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/PhD/PharmD/MD preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of pharmaceutical business experience.
• Deep oncology and precision medicine experience across sales, marketing, account management, and/or strategic planning/business development.
• Strategic, enterprise-minded leader who can shape vision, align priorities and move teams from strategy to execution.
• Proven people leader with ability to foster open dialogue and strong team performance.
• Customer-centered operator with credibility across external stakeholders in oncology.
• Experience building new capabilities, leading through ambiguity in a matrix organization.
• Experience building AI literacy and responsible AI use is preferred.
• Commitment to learning emerging technologies such as AI.

Responsibilities

• Develop the US Precision Medicine strategy, vision, priorities and execution roadmap with senior leaders.
• Lead US Precision Medicine marketing team and associated accounts.
• Translate strategy into clear plans supporting current and future Oncology portfolio needs.
• Strengthen external engagement with oncology customers, cancer centers and influencers.
• Build capability across the Precision Medicine organization, including direct leadership of customer-facing teams.
• Advance biomarker testing strategy and patient identification opportunities.
