Job description

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

The Experience

The Product GTM & Growth Strategy team is part of Salesforce's Corporate Strategy organization, and partners closely with Product Leadership to drive business growth, Go-To-Market execution, strategic planning, and investment prioritization across our product portfolio. The Sr. Director role leads this function for the Platform Portfolio - owning the strategic frameworks, executive operating cadence, and growth playbooks that drive C-suite and board-level decision-making across five product families spanning organically built products, mature acquired businesses, and newly integrated assets.

This leader will serve as the commercial and strategic lead to Platform product leadership, designing portfolio-level growth strategy, building the executive reporting and QBR rhythm, and leading a team of analysts and managers who form the analytical and operating backbone for portfolio decisions. The role spans the full value chain - from product strategy and market analysis, through the rhythm of the business and go-to-market execution, to post-sales adoption and consumption - and requires a strong mix of strategic thought leadership, operational rigor, and people leadership: someone who can design the growth framework at the top and build the team and infrastructure underneath it.

Scope
  • Strategic Advisor: Advise product leaders on growth priorities and strategic initiatives, operating as a trusted daily partner to senior product leadership.
  • Product Strategy: Lead market analysis, product investment prioritization, and portfolio optimization - providing data-driven recommendations on short- and long-term product bets based on market dynamics and portfolio priorities.
  • Rhythm of the Business: Own target setting, executive business reviews, the performance narrative, and ongoing forecasting - delivering the operating cadences that surface the state of the business and inform focus areas.
  • GTM Planning & Execution: Drive go-to-market planning, commercial strategy, launch and lifecycle planning, and cross-functional alignment with marketing, enablement, and sales - partnering to ensure readiness for new releases and growth levers.
  • Adoption & Consumption: Define success metrics, run adoption and consumption programs, and drive portfolio standardization and governance - measuring post-sales business impact and helping business leaders drive adoption at scale.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
  • Own and evolve the Platform portfolio-level growth framework - segmenting each business by growth archetype and tailoring investment trade-offs, growth levers, and operating cadence to each business's stage.
  • Drive strategic initiatives including post-acquisition growth strategy, cross-portfolio synergies, and Consumption GTM.
  • Author and maintain the frameworks and performance metrics adopted for ELT and Board reviews, mobilizing cross-functional leaders across Product, Sales, and Finance to operate against KPIs.
  • Size growth opportunities and directly shape investment prioritization, product roadmap inputs, and external positioning.
  • Partner with commercial strategy teams on pricing, packaging, and incentive design to support new and evolving selling motions across the portfolio.
  • Lead, develop, and grow a team across GTM strategy and business operations - hiring, promoting, and building the analytical and operating backbone for portfolio-level decisions.
  • Drive innovation in team processes and deliverables, leveraging AI tools and automation to extract deeper insights and operate more efficiently.
  • Partner with peer strategy leaders across Corporate Strategy to ensure consistency and alignment in frameworks, reporting, and executive communications.
You're Our Person If...
  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, GTM, product operations, management consulting, or finance, with a track record of increasing scope and responsibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to build frameworks, operating rhythms, and teams from ambiguity - a "build it from zero" track record, not just inherit-and-optimize.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills, with direct experience advising and presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders; ability to synthesize ambiguous data into a clear executive narrative.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen; comfort with market sizing, competitive analysis, investment prioritization, and financial modeling.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, including hiring, growing, and promoting talent across multiple levels as a manager of managers.
  • Experience working across a matrixed organization, including Product, Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Product Marketing.
  • SaaS or high-tech industry experience required.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
Even Better If...
  • Familiarity with AI tools, autonomous agents, or enterprise software ecosystems is a strong plus; an AI-first mindset in how the team operates and delivers insights.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Work experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, sales strategy, or product operations strongly preferred.
